Voguish Day 2 @ India Kids Fashion Week

India Kids Fashion Week 2012 finished its second day. Madhura Sansare & Anita Balsara reveals how kids give models a run for their money as designers provide them the perfect platform to showcase their talent…

Day 2 of IKFW 2012 showcased modish apparels by some of the prominent designers and kid centric brands in the new established market of high end fashion for kids. The children looked confident as ever as they graced the ramp looking stunning for their respective shows. The shows on Day 2 included Niharika, Coochhie Coo, 612 Ivy League, Max, OMG and Zoop.

The day started with Niharika showcasing her collection. Her collection was based on fantasy, fun and her line depicted a lot of vibrant colours patterned with characters such as elephants, frogs and flowers that depict stories in a new, fun way. Coochhie Coo stood up to their motto of A Royal life for your precious one! Sagrika Mittal Goyal from Coochhie Coo worked on a theme inspired by Victorian Love. The kids looked a million bucks in the red and white theme. The blue-eyed Adah Sharma was the show stopper for Coochhie Coo.

The second half of the day saw great shows by 612 Ivy League, Max and OMG. 612 Ivy League is India’s foremost brand focusing on preteen or tween kids while OMG was stylish, casual, innocent, chic and happening. The kids in the Max show were covered with wonderful accessories. Vedita Pratap Singh was the show stopper for Max.

The last show of the exciting Day 2 was by Zoop – Titan that had cool and vibrant range of watches that stands for fun. Zoop had separate themes for boys and girls. For boys it was Attitude while for girls the theme was Princess. They ended the show with Shrek, the well known animated character as their show-stopper.
