The GEN Next is always the start of the fashion fever that exists for more than a week, yes it’s Lakme Fashion Week Summer / Resort 2012 we are talking about.  Lots of new initiative is always the focus for the new GEN NEXT designers as they are fresh graduates from the fashion schools.

Some of the coveted Gen Next designers were Nimish Shah from Mumbai, Nupur Kanoj from Kolkata, Ruchika Sachadeva from Delhi, Archana Gunti from Hyderabad, Manoj Kumar & Vinod Bhardwaj from Chandigarh, bong beauty Megha Garg from Kolkata, Prashant Kumar from Delhi, Shikha Grover & Vinita Adhikari from Noida, Tanya Sharma from Mumbai, and Yogesh Chuadhary from Gurgaon.

If fashion could be transformed into art, the fashionistas should see these young ones who played with colours used fabrics like khadi, cotton, silk, and the likes. The silhouettes were a blend of modern yet avec western cuts. What you like is fashion being portrayed in its real original sense!
