The Day 4 of Lakme Fashion Week Summer / Resort 2012 started with young and talented designers Nupur Kanoi, Shashank & Prajwal and Ruchika who dazzled la rampe with the colour combo of black and white on organza, net and chiffon. Eina Ahluwalia is one of India’s foremost conceptual jewellery artists who showed her collection followed by modern silhouettes by Payal Singhal.

Neha Agarwal‘s designs had lots of prints that added to a niche feeling to her ensembles while Rimi Nayak too dazzled la rampe with her very conventional designs, insect prints, lots of unique prints, and the likes. The colour palette had vibrant colours like yellow, red, orange, amongst all.

Swapnil Shinde had warrior glamazons striding down the catwalk in black, nude and ivory leather, satin, cotton and crepe. For Siddhartha Tytler, it was gorgeous Sonali Bendre who ended the show in a deep brown mini and a magnificent multi-coloured patchwork long cover.

The Karmik Show had many designers under one roof, started Sonakshi Sinha in a dazzling JJ Valaya lehenga. Then it was beautiful sarees from Shantanu & Nikhil, chic colour blocking from Ranna Gill while Rohit Bal had very bold designs. India’s leading couturiers came together on one platform, and presented a collection that will now be available to the discerning buyer at an average price point of $100 only.

Narendra Kumar culminated the Day 4 with his designs that were fun as usual, the hair-style was just amazing, and he played the DJ too. Raising the tempo of the show to its climax, Nari took his bow wearing a military style high colour jacket in DHL colours of yellow and red. Fun, fashion, frolic, music and lots of style thus made brought down the fashionable fourth day.
