With the on-cast of action and thriller movies, Vogue+ Correspondent Ayesha Abdool Hay tells you more about a refreshing recently released rom-com…

With a horde of men behind Mini (Genelia D’souza), owing to her Canadian passport and her father’s rich business, not to mention her gorgeous looks, her father Bhatti (Tinu Anand) very dearly wishes to get her married off to an eligible suitor. Rebellious daughter Mini is against her father’s wish of getting her married. Fate intervenes and Mini meets easygoing Viren (Riteish Deshmukh), a rickshaw driver. Seizing the opportunity to escape her impending marriage, she flees with Viren in an apparent kidnapping.

As the audience will expect, romance develops between the two while they escape together. A dramatic  climax, filled with typical Hindi movie drama and of course, a horse ends the show. Sachin–Jigar’s musical score is quite pleasant to the ear and suits the story line. Riteish and Genelia’s sizzling on screen chemistry lifts up the otherwise drab and typical storyline.

The actors delight the audience with their splendid comic timing and acting. However, even with its predictability, the movie manages to hook you on to the couple’s love story and manages to amuse and entertain.

Overall, Tera Naal Love Hogaya is a simple and sweet rom-com which snares your heart and is a definite refresher from the action packed movies.
